As part of its steadfast commitment to social responsibility and enhancing the quality of health life for beneficiary families, Dubai Charity Association, in cooperation and strategic partnership with "Hikma Pharmaceuticals," organized an integrated initiative for breast cancer awareness and early detection, which witnessed the participation of (50) mothers and women registered on the Association's lists.
The initiative aimed to embed preventive awareness and highlight the importance of early diagnosis in increasing full recovery rates, alongside providing field medical screening services and facilitating access for target groups to specialized medical consultations in a safe and supportive environment.
On this occasion, His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, affirmed that this initiative is an extension of the Association's comprehensive vision, which is not limited to material and in-kind support alone, but extends to encompass healthcare and developmental care for the community.
His Excellency stated: "Human health is the fundamental pillar for building a cohesive society capable of giving. From this standpoint, we at Dubai Charity Association are keen to launch and initiate qualitative initiatives that contribute to protecting female beneficiaries and raising their level of health awareness. Our active cooperation with Hikma Pharmaceuticals demonstrates the importance of complementary roles between the charitable and private sectors to serve the most needy groups and achieve a sustainable impact that directly touches the lives of families.
The initiative's program included interactive awareness sessions led by a select group of doctors and specialists from Hikma Pharmaceuticals, during which they covered self-examination mechanisms and key medical indicators requiring prompt follow-up, alongside answering the participants' inquiries.
The initiative also featured free medical and clinical check-ups for participants to ensure their complete well-being and to refer any cases requiring further medical follow-up. At the conclusion of the event, the Association distributed appreciation and in-kind gifts to the participating mothers and women, as an expression of moral support and a commitment to spreading an atmosphere of joy and care.
The initiative received widespread acclaim from the participants, who expressed their deep gratitude to Dubai Charity Association and Hikma Pharmaceuticals for this generous humanitarian gesture, and praised the comprehensive care provided to the families registered with the Association.
